**On Thursday night Sadie, Mr. A and I decided to go out and eat at a new Mexican restaurant (sorry I don't know the name of it). I would like to start out by saying this place was horrible. In a scale of 1-10 i would give this place a 3. It was clean but non of us ventured anywhere but to our table. We started out with a small bowl of chips and 1/2 a cup of salsa. After we ordered a cup of nacho cheese, it was cold. The food was reasonably priced but it was very bland. They could have added some salt and pepper and it would have been 100% improvement. Over all no matter how bad the food, service and atmosphere is we were still able to have a good time, even if I did have to go home and eat a bowl of ice cream.

**La Familia Mexican restaurant. I don't think I would go as far as Tancy has, to say it is horrible, because I honestly don't believe it was. The location (and the parking) suck, but it was clean, it was a nice little environment, and the service was a bit over-the-top if not mildly annoying (but we were one of only two tables there.) The food was bland. A little salt and pepper would have gone a long way. The portion sizes were good, the prices were good, the food was hot, but it lacked a lot of flavor. I had a REAL coke for the first time in a long time, and I have to give two thumbs up for that one!
I also believe that the kid's menu was varied, which is good, especially for the little ones who refuse to eat anything other than chicken nuggets.
Scale of 1-10: solid 3. I will not eat there again, though I don't think I'm going to have to wait and see, as I don't think it will remain open for long.

Coming next week, Tancy and I venture outside of our normal stomping grounds and are going to try another Mexican restaurant right down the highway from us, Dona Mary's.
