Suwannee

First off I would like to say sorry this is delayed but I was on the VA-CA.   A few Friday afternoons ago Mike, Sadie and I stuffed ourselves with some awesome Suwannee Thai food.  I would also like to start out saying that I LOVE this place!  It is one the best Thai food places that I have ever eaten at (not that I have been to a lot, but enough to know that this place is the best).  I would rate this place a 9.5 out of 10!  If they served booze it would be a 12 out of 10.  I have never had any bad food or bad service.  One downside is that it is on the other side of town but I think being located right across from the college gives them a lot of business.  My favorite is the drunken noodles and a side order of spring rolls is a must!  I will continue to eat here as long as I can and I recommend that everyone goes there at least once.

Suwannee is always a safe bet when you're hungry and looking for a little something to spice up your life.

Started with the spring rolls (and for all of you who have never had spring rolls, they're basically rice sheets wrapped around cabbage, carrots, cucumber, rice sticks, and tofu.)  Dip them in a little bit of peanut sauce, HEAVEN.  Mike, (pictured above) joined us for this little restaurant trip, and ordered the Suwannee beef soup (which is what he always orders) and as you can tell, enjoyed it thoroughly.

Tancy and I both ordered the old stand-by, drunken noodles with beef.
This photo was taken after I went all rabbit on the greenery decoration they insist on putting on the plate.  It was getting in my way of shoveling noodles into my mouth.  Greasy and spicy and delicious.

I also have a fondness for the pad thai with chicken, the pad se you with beef, and I've heard their cocoanut ice cream is delightful.

I had to rush out of there that day, but Suwannee's is always reasonably priced, and they even run lunch and dinner specials every day.  I WILL go back here.  Also, as Tancy stated above, pretty much the only thing that would make this place better, is if they served alcohol.  10 out of 10 from me!
